Sick for the first time

Nickolas had his first illness. He had the flu. It all started wednesday. On wednesday & thursday he had s stuffy & runny nose. Didn't really want to eat. He seemed to be feeling better on Friday but still didn't want to eat very much. Satuday morning he didn't want to eat at all and he threw up twice in the morning and then a couple more times though out the day. That night we called the doctor on call he told us to bring him to the E.R. because Nickolas could be getting dehydrated. So Gary, Nickolas and I ended up being at the hospital from 8 pm until 1 am. They had to give Nickolas a IV of fluids and blood work. The blood work came back fine. The nurses stuck Nickolas 4 times trying to find a vein. One in each arm and foot. I think that is the hardest thing ever to watch. He is starting to feel better today. It is so hard watching a baby go through a illness. I wish I was sick instead of him because he has no idea whats going on, why he doesn't feel good. Here are so photos of Nickoals in the Hospital.
