It finally warmed up & stopped snowing. So we had a ton of snow to play in. Nickolas helped Aunt Livvie & Mommy build a baby snowman. While we building the baby snowman Nickolas would sing Frosty the snow man. Then Nickolas started eating our snowman. He would say, "Look Mommy, Nic eat Frosty, & then laugh." While we were outside our Timmy came to plow the drive way. Towards the end he got stuck and couldn't get out. After watching them for a couple of minutes try to get the truck unstuck Nickolas looked at me and said, "Nic call Lofty"(Lofty is off of the TV show Bob the Builder & is a Crane). While we were sitting out in the snow Nickolas bent over in stuck is tongue in the snow and came up laughing saying Nic eat snow, your turn Mommy, then your turn Puppy(he calls Livvie Puppy) over and over again. Then he changed it to eat your lunch Mommy, your turn eat your lunch Puppy. Later on I told Nickolas it was time go in and He replied,"Wait Nic needs to finish lunch" and then proceed to sit down and eat snow.

We went swimming with Nana, Pop Pop, Sam, Katie and Aunt Livvie. At first Nickolas wasn't that sure about the water. After a while he liked it and had a lot of fun. There was a little girl about Nickolas age that we played with for a while.

After lunch we went home and had a nap. After Nickolas woke up we met Livvie, Sam, Katie & Nana at the bowling alley and Nickolas bowled for the first time. After we were done, we went to the arcade room and Nickolas got to ride a motorcycle! Nickolas highlight of the day.

After the Children's discovery museum we met Nana and had lunch at Olive Garden this wasn't until 1:30. I was surprised that Nickolas lasted that long because he what woke up at 7 am and then we played at the CDM. But Nickolas loved having lunch with Nana. He still talks about "eat" "Nana"

Friday Livvie, Sam, Katie, Nickolas and I all went to the Children Discovery Museum to play. Nickolas had tons of fun but I think Sam, Livvie and Katie had more fun then Nickolas. There was a restaurant, Hannaford, a bank, a theater & stage, a boat, camping area & Nickolas favorite up stairs was the trucks & tractors part. He thought that was the greatest place.

Nickolas, Mom and I went to a fun fair at Mom's school. Livvie and Sam ran a booth. Nickolas had tons of fun we stayed the whole 4 hours. I was surprised I didn't think he would last that long.

I bought Nickolas a booster seat for the table because his high chair is too tall for the table. Nickolas loves the booster seat though he carried it around from room to room all day. He would then put it down sit in it & play. In this photo Nickolas put it on the folded out couch,has his biffie, book & is offering me a piece of pop corn.

Here Nickolas is painting with chocolate pudding. I think he ate more of it then manged to get on the paper. He was being cute because he would stick his hand in his month & mmm dood(good). He's so proud of it though, we put it on the fridge & anyone who comes over he shows it too.

Yesterday on the 24th Nickolas turned a year and a half old! I can't believe it. He already looking like a little boy and less like a baby. NIckolas runs every, never walks anymore. He will also walk around on his tiptoes. Some new words he is saying pretty clear this week are church,down, up, hello & phone. I'm sure I have forgotten some. He does this really cute thing when he see's Taz our cat. He goes "oh tazzie" and then hugs and kiss's Taz.

This morning Nickolas & I made hand print ornaments from a recipe I found online. Flour was pretty much every where but I thought they came out cute.

Last weekend we made Ginger Bread House's. Nickolas helped Mommy make her's this year. He tryed to eat the candies & frosting the whole time but he did stick a couple of candies on the house though.

SO Nickolas discovered where we keep the sprinkles to decorate with. He found green ones. He must have been eating them too because his face is all green as you can see from the pictures. In the first picture Nickolas was pointing to his hands saying oh oh, then saying "mess". In the second picture where Nickolas is crawling on the floor(by the way he never crawls) there was little green hands prints left on the floor. His face & hands stayed green for the next day.

Thank you sooo much for Nickoals Christmas presents. He LOVED them. We didn't even wait until dinner was over to open them. We went for a hay wagon ride pulled by two big black horse that the first thing Nickolas did when he saw then was to moo. lol Then we went & got some bags to fill up with apples. Nickolas loved his appe so much. He held onto all the way home and then for about 15 more mintues while we were getting veggies out of the garden at Nana's.

Here are some pictures of a couple nights ago. It was sooo cold outside. I think it was around 35 degrees out. Nickolas loved it thought. He helped Aunt Livvie pick pears for her pear stand out by the road. She's made about $15 already & it has only been about 3 days since she started it. Today we went up to Nana's house to get some corn. We ended up with a lot more then corn though. The peach's were ready. Nickolas loved them. I ate it right down to the seed thing. He also loved getting dirty in the garden. We went home I let Nickolas play in a puddle for the first time. He liked to splash and walk though it. Nickolas watched Luke walk over to the puddle then take a drink in it, so then Nickolas bent down & stuck his face in the puddle too & tried to take a drink!!! It was so funny & gross.

So Nickolas is now 1! It's really hard to believe that my baby is already 1. Time really goes by fast. I think Nickolas actually knew he was having a birthday but he had fun with everyone there. Nickolas would do this fake laugh every time he heard some one else laugh. Nickolas is WALKING now!!! He's so cute to watch it's like a little waddle side step thing. Nickolas went to the doctors on Friday. He would cry every time the doctor & Nurse came near him. He really cried when he got the shots. He has never cried at all doing any of his Doctor visits. Nickolas weighs 23 lbs & is 30 in long. He is in the 50% for both height & weight. So that is awesome.

We had a very busy 4th of July. In the morning we went to the parade, i think it was the longest every. Nickolas loved watching all the different floats go bye. Then we ate lunch at pizza hut. Nickolas got very messy. Then we went out to Aunt Jody & Uncle Steve's camp. Nickolas didn't really like Uncle Steve at first. He would cry & want to be held when every Uncle Steve came into view, but by the end of the night Nickolas & Uncle Steve were best friends. Nickolas loved swimming! He would kick his feet and arms every which way. We all did sparklers, but Nickolas was getting tired by then so he wasn't really interested.

Here are some pictures from May 22. Nickolas was almost 10 months in these pictures He had a doctor's appointment the next day. Nickolas weighs 22 lbs & is 28 1/2 in long. He is in the 50% in both. Taz the cat is so good with Nickolas. Nickolas will grab a hold of Taz and yank with all his might and Nickolas usally comes away with a handful of cat hair while Taz just lays there. Nickolas hates the grass and will lift his feet up if his feet or any bare skin touchs the grass. It is so funny to see.

I took this photo of Nickolas on March 25. One day after Nickolas turned 8 Months old! It seems like he turned 8 months and all of a sudden he is rolling every where. Nickolas rolls to get places. He will push him self back wards but not forwards yet. He has started to hold the crawling position for a couple of seconds. Still no teeth! I can't believe he hasn't gotten any teeth.

Target opened in Augusta this past month and we went shopping to look for a different baby bouncer for Nickolas because the one we had for him, couldn't touch the ground with his feet. So we tried out 3 differnt ones, he loved the all.

This one was fun, but there was no room to put toys or snacks on it

This one was the easiest one to bounce in but it was alittle to snug where he sits in it.

This one had room for snacks and other toys. It had room to grow and was easy to bounce.

Sick for the first time

Nickolas had his first illness. He had the flu. It all started wednesday. On wednesday & thursday he had s stuffy & runny nose. Didn't really want to eat. He seemed to be feeling better on Friday but still didn't want to eat very much. Satuday morning he didn't want to eat at all and he threw up twice in the morning and then a couple more times though out the day. That night we called the doctor on call he told us to bring him to the E.R. because Nickolas could be getting dehydrated. So Gary, Nickolas and I ended up being at the hospital from 8 pm until 1 am. They had to give Nickolas a IV of fluids and blood work. The blood work came back fine. The nurses stuck Nickolas 4 times trying to find a vein. One in each arm and foot. I think that is the hardest thing ever to watch. He is starting to feel better today. It is so hard watching a baby go through a illness. I wish I was sick instead of him because he has no idea whats going on, why he doesn't feel good. Here are so photos of Nickoals in the Hospital.

I do believe Nickolas is the cutest thing I have ever seen! Nickolas went to his 6 month doctors appointment. He weighs 16.5 pounds. He is in th 25% in both his weight and height.

Nickolas is sitting for about a minute by him self! He is even correcting him self when he starts tiping. He now has had prunes(which he loves) In this movie he doesn't know if he should keep fussing or to laugh.

Nickolas went cat fishing this morning with his Pop Pop. He actually turns the reel! It's so cute to watch him.

Nickolas is 6 months old! He is half a year old! I can't believe how fast time has gone bye. Nickolas is sitting up by himself for a minute or two. He will now clap his hands if you do it or he will do it and then will want you to do it. He is babbling like all the time. He has ate rice and oatmeal cereal. He has also had apple juice to help him poop. He absolutely LOVES apple juice! Nickolas was so mad when there was no more juice left. His 6 months check up is on February 4th so it will be interesting to see how much he has grown.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! Nickolas had a great 1st Christmas! Santa brought him all kinds of neat presents. Nickolas would actually help me open his presents! He was being so cute!

On Saturday Nickolas went to his first wedding and wore his first tux! He was so cute in it.

Doctor's Appointment update

Nickolas had a doctors appointment on Monday. Dr. Barnes said he is growing great. He weighs 15 lbs 4 ozs & is in the 50% range. Nickolas is 24 inches long & is only in the 25%. He has only grown 3 inches since he was born!
